Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

I'm not very good at writing these things so I'll start by intoducing myself; My name's Tanya Gleason and I'm 18 years old. I go to a fee-paying grammar school, in Stockport, where I'm in sixth form with my friends.

Today, we had a new student, Lilly, joining our school. I had to go around looking for her all morning. She decided to make her own way into the school; I am so pissed off. Was there even a point in me showing up? I wished she made it easier for me to find her this morning.

We happily welcomed her to our friendship group, but we're a bit weird. We're seen as the outcasts of the school, but we thought 'Why not? Why not have yet another outcast?'. Her dad works at these fancy universities all around England. Bennet was really interested that he had worked at Cambridge. Cambridge! Of all places, she has to come from the most prestigious universities. I guess it's kind of cool.

Everyone is starting to revise for the mocks. They're only mocks! You don't need to revise for mocks. Cissy even memorised the timetable for them. She doesn't even do PE! Photographic memory, she says. More like showing off if you ask me.

Year 7's are really getting on my nerves. Last Friday, I found out that if you line them up and push them over, they fall on top of eachother. Everyone thinks I'm mean but they're just so rude! I had to experiment.

Anyway, I have a lesson in 3 minutes, with Anderson, so I'll write to you after.

Love from,

Tanya x
